Admissions & Eligibility

We accept students from various technical backgrounds. While B.Tech (CS/IT/EC/EE) and Diploma students form the majority of our cohorts, we also welcome BCA, MCA, and recent engineering graduates who want to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Basic computer literacy is required, but advanced programming knowledge is not mandatory for our foundation or core programs.

Our curriculum is structured to accommodate absolute beginners. We start with foundational concepts (like C/C++ logic building or basic web technologies) before moving on to advanced frameworks. However, for specialized AI or advanced backend architecture courses, a basic understanding of programming logic is highly recommended.

Enrollment is a simple 3-step process. First, fill out the online application form on our website or visit our admissions desk at the Lucknow campus. Second, attend a brief counseling session where our mentors will help you choose the right tech stack based on your career goals. Finally, complete the fee payment to secure your seat. Early registration is recommended as our summer batches fill up extremely fast.

We believe in giving every passionate student an opportunity to learn. We do not have written entrance exams. Instead, we rely on a 1-on-1 counseling session to gauge your interest, dedication, and current skill level. This helps us place you in the correct batch and tailor our mentoring to your specific needs.

Absolutely. We understand the time constraints of working professionals. We offer specialized weekend batches for our core certification programs (like MERN stack, Data Science, and Cloud Computing). We also provide customized upskilling programs for corporate teams.

To guarantee quality education and 1-on-1 mentorship, we strictly cap our regular batches at 30 students. This allows our faculty to monitor every student's code, provide real-time debugging assistance, and ensure no one is left behind during complex technical sessions.

We want you to be completely confident in your choice. For our 6-month industrial training and major certification programs, prospective students can attend up to two demo sessions. This allows you to experience our teaching methodology, interact with the faculty, and see our lab infrastructure before making a financial commitment.

GyanAstra Academy is an independent premium technical institute. While we are not a degree-granting university, our Summer and Industrial Training certificates strictly comply with the mandate guidelines of major technical universities (like AKTU, BTEUP). Colleges readily accept our project completion certificates for academic credits.

If you realize that a particular tech stack isn't the right fit for you, you can request a batch or program transfer within the first 7 days of the course commencement. Transfers are subject to seat availability in the requested batch and approval from the academic counselor.

For standard enrollment, you need to submit a copy of your Aadhar card (or equivalent Govt ID), a photocopy of your current college ID card, and two recent passport-size photographs. For apprenticeship or placement-guaranteed programs, you may also need to submit your latest academic mark sheets.

A personal laptop is mandatory for all our coding programs. Having your own machine ensures that your development environment is always configured correctly, and you can continue your projects at home seamlessly. We provide fully equipped AC labs with ergonomic seating, individual power sockets, and high-speed enterprise Wi-Fi.

For basic web development and programming, a dual-core processor with 8GB of RAM is sufficient. However, for Android Development, AI/ML, or heavy Full Stack courses, we strongly recommend a laptop with a modern quad-core processor (Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 or higher), at least 8GB to 16GB of RAM, and a minimum 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD).

Our summer training cohorts are intensive, short-term programs designed to fit into the summer academic break. They usually span 4 to 6 weeks, featuring daily sessions (theory + practical labs) and ending with a capstone project submission.

We have rolling intakes for our foundation and advanced programs, usually starting in the first and third week of every month. Our specialized Summer Training batches begin in May and June, while Winter Training batches start in December and January. Please contact the admissions desk for the exact dates of upcoming cohorts.

GyanAstra Academy operates a state-of-the-art flagship campus in Lucknow. We heavily focus on premium offline education to provide an immersive, distraction-free environment and direct 1-on-1 mentorship. We do not currently offer online degrees or operate franchises in other cities.
