Programs & Curriculum
Deep dive into our engineering curriculum, technologies, and teaching methodology.
Summer Training is designed as a crash course during semester breaks, focusing on building a foundational skill set and a minor project. Industrial Training is a comprehensive 6-month program that covers technologies from zero to advanced levels, includes extensive live projects, and focuses heavily on making the student job-ready for placements.
We provide industry-aligned tracks for both. Our MERN Stack program covers MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js with a focus on modern JavaScript architectures. Our Java Full Stack program focuses on Core/Adv Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and frontend integration (usually with React or Angular). Both end with production-grade capstone projects.
We strongly oppose rote memorization. At GyanAstra, our philosophy is 'Learn by Doing.' While we cover necessary theoretical concepts (data structures, system design, architectural patterns), the vast majority of your time will be spent writing code, debugging, and building real-world applications in our labs.
Our syllabi are not static academic documents. They are living curricula co-authored by our senior faculty and our network of industry hiring partners. We update our course modules every 6 months to ensure we are teaching the exact frameworks, tools, and best practices that top tech companies are actively hiring for right now.
Live projects are the cornerstone of our training. You will not build generic 'To-Do list' apps. You will build comprehensive platforms—like E-commerce systems with payment gateways, real-time chat applications, or predictive AI models—that solve real problems. These projects are hosted live and become the highlight of your resume.
We teach software engineering, not just syntax. Therefore, industry-standard tools like Git, GitHub, VS Code debugging, command-line operations, and basic deployment (CI/CD concepts) are baked into every curriculum. We ensure you learn how to collaborate on code exactly like you would in a real software company.
Instead of outdated printed books, we provide access to our internal digital knowledge base. You get curated PDF guides, architecture diagrams, interview cheat sheets, and lifetime access to our private GitHub repositories containing all the boilerplate code and project templates used during the training.
We understand that emergencies happen. If you miss a class, you can request a backup summary session. Furthermore, our faculty holds dedicated doubt-clearing hours every week where you can catch up on missed concepts and get 1-on-1 help with your code.
A strong grasp of DSA is crucial for cracking technical interviews at top product companies. While we have dedicated Logic Building courses, we also weave practical data structures (arrays, hash maps, trees) and algorithmic thinking into our Full Stack and AI programs to ensure you write optimized code.
We do not conduct traditional written exams. Your progress is evaluated based on your weekly coding assignments, your ability to debug errors, your participation in hackathons, and the quality of your final capstone project. This continuous, practical assessment mirrors real-world performance reviews.
Our 'Python with AI' program is highly structured. It begins with core Python programming (variables, loops, OOPs), moves into data handling (Pandas, NumPy), and then progressively dives into Machine Learning models (Scikit-Learn) and Neural Networks. No prior AI knowledge is assumed.
For core engineering students (Electronics, Electrical), we offer extensive programs in Embedded C, Microcontrollers (Arduino, NodeMCU, ESP32), PLC Automation, and IoT architectures. These courses involve hands-on hardware integration in our hardware labs.
Our courses are intensive and require significant self-study and coding practice outside of class hours. While it is technically possible to enroll in two batches (e.g., morning and evening), we strongly advise against it. We want you to master one tech stack deeply rather than learning two superficially.
To ensure maximum comprehension, our faculty explains complex technical concepts using a comfortable bilingual approach (Hindi and English). However, all technical terminology, coding conventions, project documentation, and interview preparations are strictly conducted in professional English.
Upon successful completion of your training and project submission, you will be awarded a GyanAstra Academy certificate. Every certificate features a unique cryptographic verification number that employers or university officials can use to verify your credentials instantly on our website.
